Yup, I was fired from my job at Venture, and fuck me I have never felt better. They said I had all of this potential, and said they would help me and guide me through the process to get me to the top. They had so much faith in me and my ability, and at the end of a horrific day at work...my boss sat me down and said that I havn't lived up his expectation. I can't remember the excat words he used as I was so shocked by it all, but he said that my portfolio is too good compared to my real actual talent.
He said some nice things but mainly all negative and just plain stupid. I have worked my arse off for this company, gave up so much of my time to work with models and magazines so I could be a Venture photographer. The thing you have to remember, it's not as cool and as modern as it is made out to be. Yeah sure they are trying to be innovative and fresh, but in reality they are all trainees trying to learn how to work with families and little shit of kids.
I have bruises all over my legs, my RSI in my right hand has gotten worse, I was depressed, spent shitloads on clothes that I wont wear for a long time if ever again and getting a proffesional hair cut on Wednesday to suit their needs.
Best things are: I don't have to take my lip ring out again, hurray! I also get to have bright red hair again and some kind of funky haircut...I think I deserve it (:
other note: I'm back! I have managed to work with an amazing british model, Floz. She approached me asking me to do a Guro Lolita shoot with her, how could I resist?! We've got some more shoots lined up, I also am planning a pirate shoot, a few decora lolita shoots and I have the images from the RBK (RazorBladeKisses) shoot. Lots of stuff to update with soon

hell fucking yes. I need to get back in the game! After this comming week I am going to be booking in so many shoots, I'm going to email magazines, see if there are any goth weddings and photograph them and maybe even offer a cheap shoot, like £60 for an hours shoot for models. I can't wait to work with you, we're going to go all out and show them what they've fucking lost out on (;

I just got home at 10.30 and wanted to sit and mong out watching wrestling, I didn't know what to think and was worried about what dads going to say. I wanna talk to you, but I'm seeing Rich's dad today and TNA (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Booker T and loads more!!) on Sunday. Can I give you a ring tonight? What are you planning on doing next? I think you should contact Bizarre, you said you would love to shoot for them right? They'd be insane not to take you.
Argh!! I just typed a huge reply and because Rich trapped 3 of my fingers in a car door (as in shut the car door, left it shut until we both realised what the fuck had happened...omg it was naaaasty feeling) so typing is a freaking pain...argh d/a!!
anyway... I had contacted Bizarre recently about working with Floz, they said they would like to show them in the letters section which is an awesome start. But I really want to meet up with the owner (who I have been told lives in Brighton) and show her my port and see if I can get some bits and bobs with them. It's difficult though as they get people applying everyday...I just think they havn't probably seen anything like my work so fingers crossed! I really think the fetish photography world needs a good, young, female photographer...makes it fun for the girlies too!!
We need to meet up deffo, I still havn't heard back from that woman about Chatham..I will email her again to try and find out why :/
